Q: Is my car ok with just one thermostat?

asked by on November 29, 2017

The temperature on my car starts to rise above the normal level when I go over 60mph. It hasn't "ran hot" only goes up close to the H". I was told it was because one of the thermostat gets stuck. They said I don't need to replace it. Is this true? will my car be ok with just one ?

My car has 97000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
