Q: Is it the trunk latch assembly or something else if you know the trunk has been closed , but the trunk open light in the instrumen

asked by on March 22, 2017

We bought this buick new. And on the first oil change we told them about the trunk notification says the trunk is open when it is closed . They made some adjustments and sent us on our way..At oil change # 2 we gave them the same complaint . This time they said they installed a new trunk release assembly . At oil change #3 ,again with the same complaint .This time they said they couldn't get it to repeat the problem . It doesn't do it every time , but about 3 out of 10 times it does . Any idea what is going on ? .....Frank B.
