Q: Intake manifold clip code on 1997 Ford F 150

asked by on

Received a p157, p158 code
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hello - the two codes you mention, P0157 and P0158 both refer to faults with the Oxygen Sensor after the catalytic converter on Bank 2. This would be the cylinder head and exhaust side that does NOT contain cylinder #1 - so, the passenger side of the vehicle. I recommend an oxygen sensor replacement performed by a mobile, professional mechanic, such as one from YourMechanic, who will come to your location, and make this repair.
