Q: Instrument cluster malfunction
I recently had my dash serviced for an airbag recall. A few days later a water balloon entered my open window and hit the dash. A Day or so after that the dash lights were flashing on and off and making weird noises. What is the likelihood that the water balloon shorted out the system. Do I need to replace it? Or is it more likely that the previous repair is to blame?
My car has 160000 miles.
