Q: in the base or value trim level, is onstar wired into the stereo?

does onstar require special adapters or equipment when replacing factory radio with aftermarket? Does my base (one database claims mine is the value trim level, even lower than base) model even have onstar on it? Only known option is moonroof. It has crank windows and manual locks.
