Q: Impala LTZ 2014 . what is the cause for oil to continue to contaminate theair filter have replaced 2 already still getting oil
What cause oil to contaminate and blow back into the air filter and housing area. I clean it up replace the air filter but it continues to contaminate air filter. This has caused the car to surge and sometimes stop when de-accelerations. We have fixed by cleaning up the max air flow sensor. That aside the problem will return. IS it the PVC where is the PVC should it be replaced? bought the car pre owned runs fine but for this issue ....Not losing oil and I check often now. If I fix this the car will be ok again.
