Q: Immobilizer on and car won't ignite not even in ON position..lights don't get lit up

asked by on August 30, 2017

Kept the windows open, switched off the engine, removed the key and vacuumed the entire car. Was opening and closing the door and the trunk while cleaning the car. Maybe accidentally moved the hand brake while cleaning. When I tried to start, the key won't turn to start. Initially the lights lit up in the door and after trying to start the car for few times, the immobilizer system got engaged and the car won't turn on completely. Please let me know what should I do?

My car has 10000 miles.
