My cars saying immobilized feature won't let me turn my key

There a few things that can cause this to happen. To start with, try unhooking the negative battery cable for about 10-15 minutes and reconnect it. This sometimes can clear this. Other things like the steering column lock malfunctioning can also cause this to happen. A dead key remote battery can also cause this to happen. Try also pressing the unlock button on the key while it is in the ignition and holding the unlock button down for 30 seconds. If none of these work, you may want to have an expert from YourMechanic come to your location to take a look at your vehicle.
