Q: Ignition fuse keeps blowing

asked by on November 15, 2017

at first my starter gave out, so I replaced it. Truck was working fine. Then 2 weeks later, has I was driving my truck turned off, so I pulled over and started it but nothing happened, checked my fuses and found my “ignition A” fuse was blown. So I put a new one in, went to start the truck but it blew the fuse again. Every other fuse was good but only my ignition fuse was blown. I checked my ignition switch harness it looked good. So I’m thinking if my starter might be the issue.

My car has 460000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
