The other morning, when I turned the key, my engine would turn super slowly and never quite start. All of my lights worked fine and no warning lights stayed lit on the dash. I dug out the jumper cables and gave the car a little juice just to see if it would help. It did. The car started right up. I let it run for a few, then shut it off and started it up again 3 times. It seemed fine. The next morning I tried to start it again. It hesitated and turned slowly again on the first attempt, but on the second try it started. Later that afternoon it started up fine, but a few hours later it was a little hesitant before turning over. The battery isn't that old and the lights come on fine. Other than the starting issue, it runs fine. I don't use the car more than a few hours once or twice a week. Does my lack of use affect it's performance? What could be causing the starting issue? It seems to have manifested with no warning.

My car has 165000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
