took my car to a mechanic and they told me my transmission has never been serviced on my car. And I was completely out of fluid. He added fluid to my car. And know it goes above 40mph. But it still jerks and putter when it goes from first to second and maybe third.

My car has 160000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
