Q: I replaced the fan clutch, radiator and thermostat due to overheating, but now the car shakes and white smoke coming from exhaust.

asked by on October 29, 2017

My car started overheating so I took it to the shop, where they replaced the fan clutch. This fixed the problem for a couple months, but it started overheating again. I replaced the radiator and when it continued to overheat I replaced the thermostat. Now the car is having a hard time starting, when it does start, the engine shakes and chokes. After running for a minute white smoke starts coming out of the exhaust.
My car has an automatic transmission.
