Drove a couple months no problems. Could not get it to shift in 4 wheel drive. Had someone that owned a 4 wheel drive try they got into 4 wd but it made alot of noise. After that i was getting a loud gronding noise from front passenger wheel. Changed brakes and caliper from a junk yard. Could not afford to turn disc. It only made a little grinding noise after that. Loaned the truck to a friend that returned it saying the alum wheel split in half while driving it. He put the wrong size. Wheel and tire and drive to me. I tried to drive it but no brakes or they would stick and would not drive. I took wheel off and the disc is chewed bad on one side. What would split a wheel in half and take h hunks of disc on edge. And on top of that it a big chunk of the drivers wheel is missing like it is splitting too.

Engine sounds loud when first started then quiets down. Should I be concerned? 2012 Dodge Ram
Hi there - your symptoms suggest an oil supply or oil deliver issue when the engine is first started. Check the oil level first, then check to see what "weight" oil (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/what-type-of-oil-should-i-use) (i.e. 10W30) was used for the last oil...
