Q: I have no oil pressure while driving at normal speed. What do I do?

asked by on February 07, 2018

My motor has been knocking slightly for awhile and my oil pressure has been fine. Yesterday I started it up and it was fine until 3 or 4 minutes of driving and my oil pressure went down to 0 and would not move at all. It drove fine the rest of the time but after 20 minutes and finally getting home my motor was louder than normal. Not sure what I need to replace first with the little income I will have.

My car has 194000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
