Q: I have multiple misfires going with just about every cylinder. What do I do?

asked by on February 21, 2018

I've owned the car for two months. I noticed that it would idle rough when initially started. Sometimes so rough I thought I was going to lose power. Well recently the car wouldn't start at all. It was as if it were out of gas. The car finally started but again really rough. I have an auto insurance that requires me to plug a device so they can monitor my driving. The nice thing is that if there's any issues it emails me the engine codes. Well the codes stated misfire on cylinder 3 and other cylinders. I put fuel injector cleaner in the tank but no change. What could it be? What should I do first?

My car has 165500 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
