I have just put my car in to mitsubishi to have the hydraulic cylinder and slave changed I had a phone call from them today saying that the slave cylinder is located by the clutch so they have removed the whole clutch is this the normal process removing it all just to change that and secondly tried to charge me two and a half thousand pounds for a new clutch after he admitted there was nothing wrong with the one already on it ?

My car has 70000 miles.
