Q: I have an 86 chevy monte carlo with a 350 small block. Idles fine, but when i put in drive or reverse it cuts off.
My monte has a rebuilt motor with avout 30000 miles on it. 350 small block. Car turns on fine and idles fine but once put in gear, it cuts off. It was tuned up about a year ago, and i havent driven it much at all the past year. I didnt know if i should replace the plugs or if it may be a fuel pump. I really have no clue. If you have any suggestions for what to do or mechanics out here in san diego, it will be greatly appreciated.
