I have a Mercedes Benz clk320 convertible 2003 that's hot for the first time also clear steam coming from the radiator. I turn the heater on to check to see if the fan works and it does.None of my warning lights are on. Also felt the radiator and holes they are hot. When I crank the car up it runs hot quickly after 5 minutes.I notice the car also does makes whining noises as well not sure if its the water pump bad or not. I figured its between the water pump, the thermostat, or the radiator.It doesn't have any leaks at all and is well maintenance.
My car has an automatic transmission.
