Problems with shifting.
Transmissions can be totally destroyed inside and not shift or it could be something simple such as a speed sensor if reading erratic. The only way to tell is to have the system thoroughly checked by a certified transmission technician,...

Car overheats only at low speed
Hello. It is possible that the water pump (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/water-pump-replacement) is not pumping properly or that the radiator (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/radiator-replacement) has a partial clog which is causing the car to overheat at low speeds. Have a certified technician, like one from YourMechanic,...

One of my front tires is angled different now that I hit a rock. Could an alignment fix it? 2007 Mercedes C230
Hello - you are correct, an alignment is not going to properly repair this damage. There may be a bent or otherwise damaged suspension control arm (lower) (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/symptoms-of-a-bad-or-failing-control-arm-assembly) or tie rod. I recommend a steering and suspension inspection (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/brakes-steering-and-suspension-inspection) performed...
I'm having trouble replacing the cv axle. Do I need to replace the rings around the spline that goes into the transmission?
The rings you are pointing to in the video are actually the retaining rings. Unless they are broken, they really shouldn't need to be replaced. The ring on the male part of the splined shaft should pop into a groove...
