2004 Buick Century. When at a stoplight, I heard a pop and notice Freon rising from under the hood. I had it tested for leaks, could not find any. Mechanic said high side pressures were very high. It would take about 10 -15 minutes and the system would pop and release Freon. But not all the Freon. I cleaned the condenser at the car wash and everything ran fine for a day. The next morning I attemped to put more Freon in the system and pop Freon was released. I put more in and it works fine. Also, I noticed that the fans were not working. I took the car to a local shop and they replaced the ect sensor. Then they announced that the PCM was not sending signal to the fans. ( I don't believe them, the car never approaches overheating.) When the car reaches 1 line past the half heat mark on the dash, the needle goes right back down within 2 minutes.

Where do I go from here? Been to 2 shops that believe throwing lots of money at it will fix it.

My car has 110000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
