Q: I have a 1999 chevy tahoe. I just had the transmission overhauled because it was not shifting past 2nd gear. Problem remains.
Had 4l60e overhauled because it would not shift past 2nd gear unless I accelerated and made the RPMs go really high when I got it back from the shop put it in and it still have the same issues only this time around I'm also having issues with the four-wheel drive it makes a clicking noise like it's not going into gear and does it a few times before it just stops and it feels like I'm in 4-wheel drive when I'm actually in two wheel drive. I'm thinking maybe electrical issue maybe have a plug plugged in somewhere wrong but not sure
