Dirt and sand got into the steering stuff now it leaks

My car shakes sometimes at a stop light, reduced engine peeformance and just recently went into limp mode also check engine light
It's hard to tell without doing some further testing. This sounds like a misfire. A misfire (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/engine-is-misfiring-inspection) can be caused by several components. It would explain the "limp mode", the shaking (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/car-is-shaking-or-vibrating-inspection), and the Check Engine Light (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/check-engine-light-is-on-inspection). Misfires are...

If your vehicle's check engine light (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/what-does-the-check-engine-warning-light-mean-by-spencer-cates) illuminates, there is a malfunction that should be diagnosed and repaired. Malfunctions that cause the check engine warning light to illuminate are very varied as to "cause" (i.e., there are hundreds of possibilities)...

My Mercedes-Benz Clk320 is vibrating and shaking and and won't accelerate even when the pedal is to the floor what do I do?
It sound like you are losing fuel pressure but you should have the pressure tested and the computer tested for any stored codes. If codes are stored then have the codes diagnosed as needed.
