Q: I believed i fuel pump was dead and i have a friend that's a mechanic he said it sounded like the fuel pump
The front end was making noises I took it to my cousin who's mechanic he replace two pulleys the tension pulley in the harmonic balancer it started idling high I thought it needed a tune-up it all of a sudden shut off on me I had it towed home then my friend who's also a mechanic said it sounded like the fuel pump my husband had it towed to a shop they ran diagnostic and they said it was my engine was bad would a bad fuel pump cause my engine to fail a diagnostic test
