Q: I am trying to fix my headlight but there is left over aluminum stuck in the connector. Will that cause a fire?
I had a short in the one connector to my head light so I took it out and accidentally broke the connector while trying to pry the frayed and broken wire. So I went to the junk yard ripped out another complete connection. But when I went to take out the little silver connector I realized it is was aluminum wiring. I cut off all most all the aluminum but there is still a little where it is pinched that I can't get out. Will that cause a fire or short?????
