Q: How do you use the top anchor point in the back?

asked by on

How do you use the top anchor point in the back?

Your Altima is equipped with several anchor points. They’re designed to work in conjunction with one another. The driver and passenger rear seats both have two anchor points located where the seat bottom and back meet, but there’s another anchor point at the top of the seat. Here’s how to use it:

  1. Locate the cap covering the anchor point.

  2. Lift it up to get to the anchor point.

  3. Run the tether from the car seat to the anchor point.

  4. Latch the tether in place.

  5. Tighten the tether to secure it.

Tip

Make sure you’re using the anchor point in conjunction with the two lower anchor points.
