How do I use the BeltAlert seat belt reminder system?

The BeltAlert seat belt reminder system is a key safety feature in your car. The system alerts you when your seat belt is not fastened, and when the passenger seat belt is not fastened (if someone is occupying the passenger seat). You do not have to turn on or activate the BeltAlert system. Once the ignition is turned on, the BeltAlert Warning Light (located on your instrument panel) will illuminate if a belt is not fastened. If you operate your vehicle at more than 5 mph, the BeltAlert Warning Light will flash, and a warning noise will be made. This will not stop until you fasten the unbuckled seat belts.
