asked by on

How do I use the armrest retaining strap?

The armrest retaining strap is a safety feature that helps keep rear child restraints safe. The purpose of the armrest retaining strap is to secure the rear seat armrest in place, so that it does not come flying open in the event of an accident. To use the armrest retaining strap, attach one end of the strap to the loop on the rear seat center armrest, which is in the middle of the rear seatback. Attach the other end of the retaining strap to the center top tether anchor, on the back of the seatback.
