Q: How do I use a universal power wire kit

asked by on September 17, 2017

Car has (I think) electrical problem having to deal with the positive wire I believe. The car would start up, drive, after a while, while I'm driving, my car would seem like it wants to lose power. Lights dim, seems like it wants to die out from bogging out to much. One time it almost died out while I was taking a turn but I hit a bump and jerked the car a lil, (interior lights were really dim) but then it did something and all my lights were back on bright, car was driving normal. It was almost draining out my battery. I thought it was my connection wires. Ground and positive. So I replaced them both but got a universal positive wire with an extra wire that hangs out.(Im not to sure what's it for)

My car has 192000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
