The cross traffic feature provides extra safety when you are driving your vehicle in reverse. When you are backing up, the cross traffic feature monitors the cross traffic behind your vehicle, and alerts you when there is oncoming traffic that you cannot see. You can turn this feature on or off by following these steps: 1. Press the Up/Down buttons on the steering wheel until Settings is displayed on the instrument panel, then press the OK button. 2. Press the Up/Down buttons until Driver Assist is displayed, then press the OK button. 3. Press the Up/Down buttons until Cross Traffic is displayed, then press the OK button. 4. Select On or Off.
