How do I replace the key transmitter battery?

If the key transmitter battery dies, it will need to be replace. To do so, follow these steps: 1. Use a coin to twist the slot near the key ring. This will remove the battery case. 2. Remove the rubber gasket, if there is one 3. Remove the battery. 4. Insert a new CR2032 or equivalent battery. 5. Snap the cover back on. Tip Make sure that your hands are entirely clean and dry when replacing the battery, or you may cause severe damage to the battery and the transmitter.
