How do I play an iPod in shuffle mode?

If your iPod is connected to the infotainment system via a USB cable, then you can use the system to shuffle the songs. Just follow these instructions:

  1. Rotate the Menu or Menu/Sel knob until it highlights Shuffle Songs, then press the knob to select this category.

  2. Use the Menu or Menu/Sel knob to select On.

  3. Press the Back button to return to the main screen.

  4. When you want to turn shuffle off, repeat steps 1-3, but select Off instead of On.

Tip

This will also work on a Zune and some other portable devices.
