How do I open the hood?

Opening the hood in your vehicle is very easy, and takes only a few steps:

  1. Pull the hood release lever, which is located to the left of the steering column. You should hear the hood unlatch when you pull on the lever.

  2. From the front of the vehicle, reach under the hood, and locate the release handle. Push this handle towards the driver side of the vehicle, until you feel the hood unlatch further.

  3. Lift the hood up all the way.

  4. Locate the hood prop, and place it in the corresponding latch on the hood.
