While your car’s audio system is capable of playing standard CDs, it can also be used to listen to MP3 and WMA discs. That lets you create discs from your own music on your computer and then take them with you on the road. Here’s how to use MP3 or WMA discs in your player:

  1. Make sure the ignition is on.

  2. Turn on the radio.

  3. Load the disc.

  4. Use the tuning knob to change files or show folders.

  5. Use the seek button to choose a file to play.

  6. Use the scan button to search or select a folder.

  7. Use the four right-hand preset buttons as follows (from left to right):

  • Reverse or folder select

  • Fast forward

  • Repeat

  • Random

Tips

  • Your system will not recognize all file types.

  • The maximum file depth is 8 layers.

  • Folder and file names cannot be more than 32 characters.
