Q: How do I cancel the cruise control in a 2012 Toyota Corolla?

asked by on

How do I cancel the cruise control?

When the cruise control is canceled, it will be deactivated but not turned off. As such, the system will no longer be active, but you can use the controls to resume the set speed, rather than resetting the entire system. You can cancel the cruise control in a number of different ways:

  1. Pull the cruise control lever towards you.

  2. Depress the brake pedal.

  3. If you have a manual transmission, depress the clutch pedal.
