Honda Odyssey 2010: As I start my engine, it makes a noise like as if i am starting up a bus. Then when I started driving, the car struggles to accelerate (accelerates and decelerates) and D gear light blinked and check engine light turns on at the same time. And at one point as I try speeding up, the car slows down as it is losing power and eventually stops. I started the car again, and same thing repeats two more times. and the third time it drives smoothly and D light is not blinking anymore but check engine light stays on. I kept driving but at one point the car slows down and eventually stops as if the car has no gasoline. The car at this point, fails to start and I had to get it towed to a safer place. At this point I am so lost and need a professional guidance before seeking a mechanic so that I have some idea and I am prepared for the expenses. Please help me out in this matter. Thank you.

My car has 190000 miles.
