Q: There is a hole in exhaust pipe.

asked by on February 22, 2017

I have a relatively large hole in the centre length of my exhaust pipe. Unfortunately is it on a bend and I don't think a temporary seal will completely seal the hole. I may be able to find a section of the exhaust in the scrap yard to replace it. If I am able to find the correct section, what would you recommend as a sealant between the manifold clamp and flange joint?
