Q: How can I fix this issue?

asked by on

Both tail lights and reverse lights are not working
My car has a manual transmission.

Hello, thank you for writing in. When dealing with all over electrical issues like you describe, there is typically something that is stopping the voltage from reaching the bulbs. Switches, fuses, and broken wires are most commonly to blame in these situations. With that being said, you want to start with the simplest option, which would be the fuses. Check all of your fuses associated with the taillights or brake lights. The electrical connections that split the power into the separate circuits may also be to blame. You will want to check these with a voltmeter if equipped. For more help resolving the issue, contact our service department to schedule an appointment.
