Q: Hi Pete, I've got my friend here w/a Nissan Maxima

asked by on

Hi Pete, I've got my friend here and wonders if she can drive with a coolant reservoir that's cracked on the top aND a broken hose at the opposite end of the coolant reservoir just long enuf to get it fixed?

My car has 202421 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

It is not recommended to drive the vehicle if it does not have enough coolant or a major coolant leak or the engine may be damaged from overheating. It would be cheaper to rent a car now over having to replace an engine that got overheated if you continue to drive it with the leaks.
