Q: Hi my chevy malibu while stopped will not shift gears. I shut it down and then it will shift gears for a short time only.
When i start my 2010 malibu cold start no problem changing with tranny changing gears. After about 2 miles when iam stopped and go to take off the car will just rev and tranny will not shift gears. Once I shut it off and restart the car the car will shift gears and tranny will work but only for a short time and i have to repeat the process of shutting down and restarting for car to shift gears. I recently changed the tranny fluid but still no help as problem still is happening.The car is a 2.4 and only has 50,000 miles on it. Thank you for any guidance or help you can give me.
