Q: Why does my radiator fan not come on soon enough in my 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier

I have a 04 Chevy cavalier 2.2 motor ecotec with only 76,000 miles on it n I was trying to see why isn't my fan coming on (while driving) at 197 degrees temperatures when it should to cool the motor off (while driving) now dnt get me wrong the fan does come on but only when I turn the ac on or when I cut the car completely off hummmmm we've change the coolant sensor n all the relays(fuses) working the car is in good condition antifreeze n it still just was curious any exact reason I've own 2 cavaliers n my fan usually comes on
