Hi BMW Expert,

I have a 2001 BMW X5 3.0l 175K miles, runs strong and drives well. There seems to be an electrical issue, maybe K-bus connection problem. The alternator and battery had recently been replaced before I got it and I was told the AC and radio stopped working (no lights, no power) at that point. (air blower and heat work, CD above radio and 6 CD changer in Cargo side well power up)

NOT WORKING: -neither front seat heaters -no radio power but CD above and 6 CD player in cargo area power up )FYI: I just disconnected rear 6 CD changer just in case it was a problem. -no AC cooling but blower and heat fine. Compressor does not seem to come on and I added r134a. -no blinker turn signal inside but they work outside. -bright headlights, same no inside signal but work outside

Dash: Air bag light on, air suspension light on

WORKING: most everything else but may not of checked all. -headlights, heater, sunroof, interior lights, all power locks via key and button, all door handles
My car's transmission is unknown to me.
