Q: Hesitation during high speeds - 2016 Audi A7 Quattro

asked by on September 04, 2016

I have a Certified PreOwned Audi with 5500 miles. I’ve been driving it for a month and I've noticed that it doesn’t respond to a small amount of pressure on the gas pedal. It has low rpms. After I press down, it gives the car a jolt. At 40 to 75 mph I get a hesitating feel while driving rather than a fluid feel. I went to the dealership and they gave me some new front tires. But I feel it is related to the engine. Do you have any ideas on this? What do you think?

Low coolant light comes on when AC, defrost or heater is on, but only if the car is in gear and stopped, what's wrong with my car?
First, you want to make sure your cooling system is full. Check the radiator not the coolant jug. And check it when it is cold. If it needs coolant, add some (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/how-to-check-and-add-radiator-fluid-by-ian-swan). Of course, I don't feel this problem is...

Will the idler pulley keep my car from cranking . 1999 Mercury Mystique
Hi - a failing idler pulley (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/symptoms-of-a-bad-or-failing-idler-pulley) can certainly keep your alternator from charging properly, resulting in a dead battery, which would prevent the engine from starting of course. The idler pulley bearing may have been failing, or possibly a...
