Hello, like I previously stated, I am currently on a road trip back to Idaho with my car and my cousin (who is a certified Ford mechanic) has been fixing up the tranny but we ran into a problem, the solenoid I think was rusted so my cousin replaced it with a one that works but now when we drive everything works okay (tranny) but the over drive light is flashing. Possibly lost over drive? But when we were getting onto the freeway we pressed down on the pedal and the rpms went up to 5k before shifting? Then we pressed the button for over drive and it worked but the light is still flashing. Please give me some good advice on what I should do. I don’t want to travel knowing that anytime the tranny could go out. Thank you so much.

My car has 127000 miles.

My air conditioner works and then it does not - does this sound like a compressor problem?

has bad idle it goes up and down with engine light flashing The engine light is off when it stops. Only after 20mins of driving
Often a flashing check engine light signifies misfiring. Inasmuch as the check engine light has illuminated, there are definitely stored trouble codes and if misfiring has occurred, those codes will reflect that. To obtain a diagnosis of the underlying problem,...
