Hello, recently I hit a baby deer on the way to work. I was going rather slow and the accident caused zero cosmetic damage. Soon after hitting the deer my power steering started acting up and seems to go out completely whenever I slow down and turn. Restarting the car seems to work temporarily, but the warning signal on the dash always come back along with power steering loss. I drive a 2005 chevy malibu 2.2L 4 cylinder. I believe the power steering is electric instead of hydraulic. Any help on this would be very much appreciated. Could a fuse just have been loosened or is it something more serious?
