Q: Key will not release

Hello I have a Chevrolet Impala 2016 limited LT and I just replaced my battery because my battery was dead I put the new battery in I went to turn on my car the console Dash lit up my radio wouldn't come on also the car wouldn't turn over to start I removed I tried to remove my key and my key would not release from the ignition any solutions to this problem
