Q: heater core? Passenger side floor soaked in coolant. Windows foggy. Removed dash but unsure i want to continue with HC.

asked by on March 07, 2018

Passenger side is soaked in coolant. Engine coolant tank is almost empty. Radiator is full though. steam coming from heaters when car goes uphill sometimes and windows foggy when driving off and on. I've taken the dash off and am trying to replace myself but I'm not sure if I am comfortable going forward. Can't find the service on yourmechanic.com. I know it takes a while to do but I've already removed the dash. Just need the core removed from casing and replaced. Could be one of the hoses I guess? Not sure.
