Q: Hazard switch smokes

This started recently. Each time I would indicate to make a right turn my hazard switch would start to smoke.
My car has a manual transmission.

It sounds like you have an electrical short, possibly at or near the hazard switch. Visual inspection and electrical testing will be needed to accurately find the location of the short.
