asked by on December 08, 2016

Car starts fine, I put it in reverse and it shifts hard, put it in drive and the motor revs and car acts like clutch sticking, put it in 2nd and car barely revs then goes fine, shift to drive and it works, might shift hard. When slowing down you feel it shift into second by its self.

My car has 187000 miles.

This vehicle is equipped with a cabin air filter (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/symptoms-of-a-bad-or-failing-cabin-air-filter) that filters the air coming into passenger compartment. The filter blocks debris, and in time restricts the air flow. It requires replacement at least once a year. Another possibly could...

Fluid hose comes off transmission to the slave cylinder.
The clutch master cylinder is not relieving the pressure when applied. I recommend bleeding the clutch master cylinder and retest. If you need further assistance with your hose blowing...

I hit a curb on my right tire. It is now leaking green fluid and oil near the belt and pullys and the bottom
The green fluid, if from the engine compartment, is probably anti-freeze. If the fluid is from the tire itself, it is probably a tire sealing compound that was within the tire. If the anti-freeze and/or oil leak is from the...
