Q: Hard to shift into gears while the car is on. (Manual) 2007 Acura CSX

asked by on February 15, 2017

Hi, I bought this Acura and the previous owner said he changed the clutch 35k miles ago. The car is manual. While the car is off It shifts smothly into every gear. When it is turned on I struggle to put it into all gear. I checked the clutch fluid and it was a little bit below minimum. I went to the dealer and got the clutch fluid and I added fluid to the maximum. Been using the car for few days since and the problem still exists and the fluid level is still good (at maximum level). Please help me solve the problem. I'm going to check the clutch free play if that might help. Thank you

My car has 195000 miles.
My car has a manual transmission.
