Q: GT key won't turn ignition

asked by on

key will not turn ignition how can I fix this or what is the cause?

My car has 134000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

The ignition key may be worn. Try to see if key will unlock and lock drivers door. Try another key if you have one. Try to wiggle steering wheel back and forth while turning key to see if steering is in a bind. If key still will not turn then call a locksmith or have vehicle towed to dealer for new ignition switch installed.
